Joris Dik wins Omosiroi Award

The World Omosiroi Award is a Japanese innovation award for projects at the crossroads between technology and art. Joris Dik, professor at TU Delft and member of the NICAS Scientific Working Group, recently received this award for his contribution to the Next Rembrandt project and the development of 3D replicas of paintings.The concept of ‘Omosiroi’ stands for ‘interesting and fun knowledge’ and is awarded to people all over the world who conduct pioneering activities in the areas of technology and art.
